DATA SHARING AND DATA AVAILABILITY POLICY

Journal of Advanced Chemical Frontiers (JACF) encourages transparency, reproducibility, and the responsible sharing of research data to strengthen scientific integrity and facilitate the advancement of knowledge in Chemistry, Material Science, Environmental Science, and Medicinal Chemistry. Authors are encouraged to make the data supporting their published findings available whenever possible, while respecting ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.

Availability of Research Data

Authors should ensure that the data underlying the results presented in their manuscripts are accurate, complete, and retained for an appropriate period after publication. Where feasible, datasets should be deposited in recognized institutional, disciplinary, or public repositories to enable verification, reproducibility, and future research.

Data Availability Statement

Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscripts indicating where the supporting data can be accessed. The statement should specify whether the data are:

  • Publicly available in a recognized repository.
  • Available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
  • Included within the article or its supplementary materials.
  • Restricted due to ethical, legal, confidentiality, or proprietary considerations.

Supporting Research Transparency

Sharing research data enhances the transparency, reliability, and reproducibility of scientific findings. Authors should provide sufficient information to allow other researchers to understand, validate, and build upon the published work whenever appropriate.

Ethical and Legal Considerations

Data sharing must comply with all applicable ethical guidelines, institutional policies, legal requirements, intellectual property rights, and confidentiality obligations. Any restrictions on data access should be clearly explained in the Data Availability Statement.

Editorial Policy

The editorial team may request access to supporting datasets during the peer-review or editorial evaluation process when necessary to verify the validity and integrity of the reported results. Such information will be handled confidentially and used solely for editorial assessment.

Commitment to Open and Responsible Research

The Journal of Advanced Chemical Frontiers (JACF) supports responsible data sharing practices that promote scientific collaboration, research transparency, and long-term accessibility of research outputs. By encouraging the responsible management and availability of research data, JACF contributes to the advancement of high-quality, reproducible, and trustworthy scientific research.
