RETRACTION, CORRECTION AND EXPRESSION OF CONCERN POLICY

Journal of Advanced Chemical Frontiers (JACF) is committed to preserving the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal follows internationally recognized publishing ethics and editorial best practices to address errors, research misconduct, or concerns regarding published articles. Where necessary, Corrections, Expressions of Concern, or Retractions will be issued in a transparent, timely, and accountable manner to maintain the credibility of the scientific literature.

Corrections

A Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum) may be published when a significant error is identified that affects the accuracy or clarity of a published article but does not invalidate its scientific findings. Corrections may relate to author information, figures, tables, references, or other factual inaccuracies. All corrections will be permanently linked to the original article to ensure transparency.

Expression of Concern

An Expression of Concern may be issued when substantial concerns arise regarding the integrity, reliability, or ethical compliance of a published article, but conclusive evidence is not yet available. This notice serves to inform readers while an investigation is being conducted by the journal and, where appropriate, the authors' affiliated institutions.

Retraction

A published article may be retracted when there is clear evidence of unreliable findings resulting from research misconduct or honest error, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, unethical research practices, or other serious violations of publication ethics. Retraction notices will remain permanently linked to the original article, which will remain accessible as part of the scholarly record and will be clearly identified as Retracted.

Editorial Assessment

All concerns related to published articles are evaluated carefully by the editorial office in accordance with established ethical guidelines. The journal may request explanations, supporting documentation, or institutional investigations before making a final editorial decision. Every case is handled fairly, confidentially, and without bias.
